Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of outdoor temperatures that are good for conducting activities. One of the factors that cause the body's healthy or not human temperature, either indoors or outdoors. The data used is the BMKG weather dataset. BMKG weather dataset is a type of quantitative data because it is numeric or nominal and can be calculated. At each day, BMKG also provides information about the temperature according to the state of each area. It is starting from the minimum temperature, maximum, average humidity, to the maximum wind speed. The method used is clustering using the k-means clustering with centroid value. This research resulted in outdoor temperature clustering, which is good, INTERMEDIATE, and bad quality. In the range of values 124.7 indicate good temperature, range values 133.1 indicate moderate temperature, range of values 146.8 indicate bad temperature. Based on research in 32 days produced 28 days of moderate temperature quality, two days of good temperature quality, and two days of poor quality.

Abstract

Development and application of educational technology in higher education with innovative learning models based on Cooperative Learning Type Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) and Project Based Learning (PBL). The purpose of this study is to analyze the educational technology model and innovative learning based on cooperative learning type STAD and PBL sustainable learning model innovation based on e-learning. This study focuses on the learning outcomes of TOEFL students in the Department of English Education in English courses at Brawijaya University Malang. Research methods using pre-test and post-test designs. Data analysis One Way ANOVA test and SEM analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) software. The results of this study showed that the treatment of TOEFL tests (pre-test, mid-test, and post-test) in the control and experimental class with cooperative learning model type STAD and PBL were different. The average pre-test TOEFL score in the experimental class was 344.71 with a range of ??starting score 300-397 with standard deviation was 29.386. The average result of mid-test TOEFL score in experimental class was 345.46 with a range of ??ranging score from 300-380 with standard deviation was 20,587. The average post-test TOEFL score in experimental class was 360.83 with a range of ranging score from 303-400 with standard deviation was 24.146 (STAD and PBL p-value were 0.019 and 0.026, respectively). The results of development and application of innovative educational technology based on STAD and PBL e-learning could have significant influence on the result of student TOEFL score.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyzes the career development of STIKES RS ANWAR MEDIKA employees by formulating employee performance indexes based on organizational structure and main tasks and functions. The research method used was an explanatory research method, using questionnaire as data collection tool that was distributed to 67 employees at STIKES RS Anwar Medika. Data analysis in this study uses descriptivei analysis and multiplei linear regressioni analysis. The iresults of the multiplei linear regressioni analysis ishowed that simultaneously and partially the variablesi of Career Planning, Careeri Direction, and Implementation of Career Developmenti had a significanti effect on iEmployee Job Performance. Its indicatedi by the simultaneousi test results obtainedi significance ivalue F of 0,000 whichi is smalleri thani ? of 0.05 (0,000 <0.05). The significancei value is belowi 5% so that results in H1 decisionsi are acceptedi and Ho is irejected. Partial itest results for iCareer Planningi obtained a isignificance valuei of t of 0.001 whichi is smalleri than ? of 0.05 (0.001 <0.05) iand the ihighest icoefficient B of 0.346. Partiali test resultsi of Career Directioni variablesi have the greatesti significancei t 0.031. Partial itest results for the ivariable Career iDevelopment iImplementation has the t least significancei of 0,000.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the competitiveness of exported agricultural products through theoretical and empirical studies, estimation methods and determinants. Not only summarizing the competitiveness theories of agricultural products exported from previous studies, the article also clarifies the concept of competitiveness of agricultural products at the level of products/services, firms/ farms, industry, thereby helping firms from agricultural countries - which rely heavily on agricultural production and agricultural products export to find the right ways to identify definitions and concepts, then choose the right methods of measurement, compare its export agricultural products competitiveness. Since, the study also proposed the use of synthetic indicators to measure the competitiveness of agricultural exports which is an important basis for the state agencies in the study and propose their export policy of agricultural products in the near future.

Abstract

Dhammapada English Source text is very famous among the Asian, Western and the European. We have the Indonesian Translation as the only one Translation admitted by Yayasan Abdi Dhamma Indonesia and the Source as Original English Text from Buddha Education Association Inc. There are 12 (twelve) poems in English of chapter XVI The Dear Ones and in Indonesian as Target Language with the same title of The Dear Ones as Perasaan; also in the same chapter XVI. The objective of this research is to determine the kinds of translation techniques used in The Dear Ones chapter XVI. The second objective is to determine that there is no deviation between the English The Dear Ones chapter XVI and the Indonesian Dhammapada Translation Text of Perasaan. This research method is using the qualitative approach since it is the suitable approach for this literature works. The result of this research is the used of Adaptation Technique Translation is dominating the translation text. The percentage of Adaptation technique is 57,6 %. The second is word for Word Translation Technique 35,2 % and the miscellaneous technique combination both Adaptation and Word for Word techniques 7,2%. There is definitely no deviation between English Original Source text and Indonesian Dhammapada as Target language. I hope that this research is useful and gives benefit for the researcher, the student, and the reader. Thankyou.

Abstract

Vegetables are ingredients for flavoring, such as tomatoes and chilies. A Both of these ingredients are processed to accompany the people's staple food in the form of sauce and seasoning. In supermarkets, these vegetables can be found easily, but many people do not understand how to choose the type and quality of chilies and tomatoes. This study discusses the classification of types of cayenne, curly, green, red chilies, and tomatoes with good and bad conditions using machine learning and contrast enhancement techniques. The machine learning methods used are Support Vector Machine (SVM), K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN), Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA), and Random Forest (RF). The results of testing the best method are measured based on the value of accuracy. In addition to the accuracy of this study, it also measures the speed of computation so that the methods used are efficient.

Abstract

Reference books on Islamic Religious Education (PAI) courses in General Higher Education (PTU) need to be designed in line with the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. This paper is to make a reference book for Islamic Religious Education courses in General Higher Education and to design reference books online. The focus of this research is the development of Islamic religious education reference books in online-based Public Higher Education. Using the Research and Development method developed by Dick and Carey. The data was collected from the assessment of two experts through the Expert validation sheet and 11 MKDU Lecturers through the respondent questionnaire. Data analysis uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data analysis that Islamic Education courses at the Blitar University of Nahdlatul Ulama need to be made references and designed online. The results showed that the reference book was appropriate to be used as a reference in Islamic Religious Education courses. This is based on material validation of 410 (very good), language and images of 401 (very good), presentation of 691 (very good), display of 252 (very good).

Abstract

Erosion is a series of sedimentation processes associated with weathering, releasing, transporting, and settling grains of earth or earth's crust. As a watershed, watersheds are very vulnerable to erosion and sedimentation problems. This research was aimed to predict the erosion danger level at Rambut Watershed Area based on the Universal Soil Loss Equation Formula, by applying a Geographical Information System analysis. Based on the formula, we used four types of maps, i.e. rainfall, soil, slope, and land cover map. On each map, classification was done to get four to five classes based on a specific factor standard. To get the final result from the erosion danger levels which is categorized into five classes, they are very light, light, moderate, heavy, and very heavy, it is necessary to overlay the four types of maps. The results showed that the erosion danger levels at Rambut watershed area ranged from very light to very heavy, with the percentages of the affected areas are 46.91%; 35.13%; 12.47%; 3.67%; and 1.82% respectively. The very heavy and heavy danger areas covered 356.02 ha. And 717.99 ha. respectively. The results are used as a database to make a good planning watershed area management. Abstract

This research is based on the still problematic confusion of basic reading lecturers to determine the weakness of students in understanding basic reading so that there are still a number of students who are completely weak in the analysis of discourse content and have not been detected clearly. Diagnostic assessment to find out the weaknesses of students in understanding basic reading in the third semester students of of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Blitar is applied in this study. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. data collection technique in this study is using interview technique. In this study, the source of the data is the third semester Basic Reading Lecturer at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Blitar. The results show that the strong desire of the third semester basic reading lecturers at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Blitar to use Diagnostic assessment resulted from several factors, namely: a) easy to understand student's ability in reading analysis, and b) easy factor to know the weaknesses of students in understanding reading. From the description above it can be concluded that Diagnostic assessment is an appropriate facility for lecturers to find out the weaknesses of students who are the top priority in learning outcomes.
